What Is the Florida Bible Institute?

The Florida Bible Institute is a ministry of Challenge Ministries International which provides structured bible training to help full time Clergy as well as part time Christian Workers and laymen alike to come to a better understanding of the doctrines of the Bible without denominational spins along with the principles and applications applicable to such doctrines.

What is the cost for tuition, books and materials?

It is offered on a free, or love offering basis. The curriculum is furnished free of charge. Love offerings are appreciated, but, at whatever amount and level as the Holy Spirit leads the student to give.

What are the qualifications and educational requirements to enroll?

It is of course necessary that one be able to read and write, and that they have a sincere desire to better comprehend the doctrines of the bible, so as to be better equipped to serve the Lord. Both full time Clergy and laymen alike will find the studies informative, challenging and will strengthen them in their sphere of ministry, or in their own personal walk with the Lord. There are no educational pre-requisites required. Men and women from all levels are and will be enrolled in the Florida Bible Institute.

How long is the course?

Presently, the course of study is designed to be completed in two years, that will most likely be lengthened to four years as courses in Church History, Christian Counseling etc., are added.

What is expected of me if I enroll?

That you diligently pursue the course of study at your own pace until completion of the course.

What can I expect to gain from this course?

You may expect to gain a through understanding of the major doctrines of the bible, and become better equipped to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in whatever area of service He places you. This course is designed to equip the believer. If you complete the course, you will be better equipped to do what the Lord has called you to do, be it full time, part time, or in your own personal walk with Him.

What kind of degree will I receive upon completion of this course?

At the present you can receive a "Certificate of Completion" for a two year bible course from the Florida Bible Institute. If we seek accreditation, and expand the course, you could be expected to receive a Diploma from the Florida Bible Institute. The decision has not yet been made as to seeking accreditation, and if so, under what source.

Where is the Florida Bible Institute based?

The home base is located at the Challenge Ministries International facilities in Jacksonville Florida. Extension courses are taught in the Philippines and training centers in the Philippines are in the process of being established.. Bible classes are also taught in New Orleans, Louisiana and in Daphne (Mobile) Alabama.  By virtue of correspondence course, Florida Bible Institute students are spread over a wide geographical area, nationally and internationally.

1. Fill out an application for enrollment. You may do so on line or request and receive a application which you complete and return by mail. Or, you may ask for and receive one at one of the meetings in New Orleans, Louisiana or Mobile, Alabama. You may call our office for dates and places of meetings in those cities.
